A PPK is one of the pistols I have always wanted. And yes, I am a James Bond fan and yes, I know he shots lots of other pistols. The pistol I found is a blue, pretty good shape with barrel in great shape. It appears, based on serial number to have been made in 1982. It is an Interarms model. I have owned and carried my little.380 PPK for a little over 8 years now, but I am not sure when it was made. It was used when I got it on a trade and did not come with the box. The serial number is A0550. Unlike many other I have seen, the serial number is not marked on the slide. The barrel has what looks like IA stamped on it. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a low-profile blade with a recessed dot and is integral to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight has an orange alignment reference under the notch. The top of the slide is serrated with a matte finish to reduce glare.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are scattered scratches on the right side of the frame at the serial number. Interarms Ppk/s Serial Numbers

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with three 7-round magazines with black pinky rest baseplates. The mags have scattered rubs, scuffs, and thinning on contact points. The mags rate in about Fine condition.

Our Assessment: This is a stainless-steel Model PPK/S pistol made by Interarms under license of Walther. After WWII, Walther had Manurhin make parts for their PP and PPK pistols that Walther then finished, stamped with the Walther name and assembled. Manurhin also made pistols under their own name for sale in the United States until the GCA of 1968. In 1978, Walther licensed Interarms to make pistols for them, and this is a PPK/S from that production period. The pistol is chambered in .380 ACP and comes with a total of three stainless-steel Walther magazines. This pistol is in about Fine Plus condition showing some signs of use but none of abuse. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion. This is going to make someone a very nice pistol for concealed carry that can also be used for home protection. The PPK pistols are known to be reliable, and the stainless-steel finish on this one will hold-up to handling as well as the elements. Please see our photos and good luck!
